- It is vital for clients to make & book acrylic/gel refill appointments in order to maintain the nail enhancements and to avoid damage to the client’s natural nails.
- Every 2 weeks is recommended for refills or maintenance. Please see the price list for costs.
- Nail enhancements should never be self-removed by the client, as this can result in damage to the natural nails. Flamingo Beauty offers professional and safe removal of nail extensions and polishes at a cost.
- Clients should expect nail extensions to gradually wear-off with time. Extensive exposure to water or cleaning chemicals increases the likelihood in the lifting of the nail extensions. Thus we recommend nail enhancements or refills every 2 weeks.
- The long-wear of nail polish is also dependent on wear & tear clients should expect it to chip or peel. Regular polishes MAY last up to 3 days and whilst Gel Polishes should last up to 2 weeks, however this is also dependent on the client. Flamingo Beauty uses professional certified products to prolong the life of polishes but chipping or peeling may still occur. Clients should expect to remove and re-apply nail polish upon chipping or peeling.
TREATMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our terms and conditions are composed of treatment recommendations and expectations (above) as well as important information below:
- We require a deposit upon every booking. Please kindly be advised that deposits are non-refundable but can be used towards rescheduling if notify Flamingo Beauty at least 4 hours before the appointment. In order for you to keep your deposit, you must rearrange your appointment within 24 hours after cancelling for another date/time.
- We charge extra for staff booking. For more information, please contact us.
- Flamingo Beauty reserves the right to decline any treatment if we deem it to be inappropriate or have the potential to cause harm.
- Repairs are to our discretion. Generally, defects caused within 3 days for shellac and 5 days for powder extensions are repaired free of charge, however, defects thought to be caused by the client will not be repaired for free. Money paid by clients is not refundable.
- By paying for the service(s), clients accept the services are perfectly done and have no defects made by our nail technicians.
- We do not permit children to be brought to the salon and cannot accept responsibility for any children while adults are receiving treatment. It is not acceptable for members of staff to child-mind while parents are receiving treatment, nor clients to child-mind while receiving treatments.
- Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by parent/guardian at our salon. Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse children under the age of 16.

GIFT CARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Flamingo Beauty Gift Cards can be exchanged for services, in Flamingo Beauty Salon (Reading), with a card reading terminal that is operational at the time of use.
- The balance on the Gift Card may be used for full or part payment of the GB pounds sterling cost of Flamingo Beauty services. To check your balance, please call us on 0118 959 8898.
- No change will be given but any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be applied to future purchases.
- The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or redeemed in whole or part for cash, and has no fixed expiry date or service fees.
- Promotional offers may not apply to Gift Card purchases.
- Keep the Gift Card safe and treat it as cash. We will not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards or for any remaining balance on the Gift Card.
- We may withdraw or cancel the Gift Card and require an alternative form of payment if we suspect that the Gift Card may have been stolen or fraudulently used. Further action may also be taken.
- We reserve the right to amend or supplement these conditions or discontinue the Gift Card at any time.
GRATUITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Stripe. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your tip donation you authorise Stripe to request funds from your credit or debit card provider
- If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.
- If you make an error in your tip donation, please contact us either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 0118 959 8898 within 14 days and a partial/full refund will be made to you.
